Partner Process & Timeline

October - December: Explore volunteer needs with your organization and team. Reach out to our program coordinator with any questions or for help.

December - February: submit an application to participate in the MVS Partnership Program and write a position description/s for Tucson MVS to publish

March - May: Our Program Coordinator and MMN completes volunteer interviews to determine the best match for your program

April - June: Organizations interview potential volunteers 

July: Volunteer Placements finalized

Late August: Volunteers arrive in Tucson and receive orientation. During this time volunteers will visit your organization so that all parties can sign a memorandum of understanding

September: Volunteers typically begin serving the last week in August or the beginning of September.

September-July: Volunteers help support your organization!
