I was born in Wisconsin but grew up in Kansas. I attended Fresno Pacific University in Fresno, California, where I was involved in choir and various clubs, including the Shalom Club. I graduated with degrees in biology and intercultural and religious studies. My hobbies include singing, classical guitar, and, up until recently, studying. I also enjoy spending time in nature or with friends. I resent relentlessly sunny days almost as much as relentlessly cloudy ones. In Tucson, I am especially looking forward to getting to know the city and Shalom Mennonite, although I am also excited to start a new chapter in my life.
