I grew up in Hutchinson, Kansas, attended high school in Buhler, and now live in Wichita. I got my bachelor of science in Environmental Studies + Spanish minor from the University of Kansas, and just completed a master's in Environmental Assessment at KU as well. I enjoy running, knitting, language learning, spending time with my cat Lulu, and hiking in the Flint Hills tallgrass prairie. I love curry with tofu, matcha tea, and dark chocolate. As an Episcopalian, I look forward to getting to know the Mennonite church and a different perspective on faith. After years of classes in environmental science and Spanish, I'm excited for the opportunity to use what I've learned to serve others in both of my service placements.
